I walked into the light and all I got were the flames as they laughed at me from the sidelines. I have seen the sun and the earth and everything in between. Yet this cycle seems to continue as if paralyzed in time. The same thing over, until undone. It takes one to break for the world to follow. Hearts are made to be broken. The sea is nothing but glass between split lips and shattered fingers. We see pain, we feel it, but we don't control it. Not without the end of a hypodermic needle drenching our veins with sweet, sweet saviour. We can strive for things. We can achieve them. But rarely will we ever master it. The water has calmed enough to let me wash up on the shores of this sea. And now there's ripples in the water where we fall as one. Where we break this elegant majesty. We are ruled by tongues we do not understand.
This is the story of the sun and the moon. This is the story of the sky getting ripped apart. Pulled to darkness, pulled to the light. Forever in continuum.
